These images focus on the contradictions surrounding the way alcohol and illicit substances are socialized in our society. On the one hand we are told to "just say no" , we know that the abuse of drugs and alcohol is detrimental to us, and yet we are bombarded with images portraying the use of such substances as cool. This is especially true in the arts, where poor behavior is often lauded as a badge of honor.
